Frequently Asked Questions

What is on the underside of the mat?
The bottom side of the mat is made of a soft, suede leather.

How do I clean the mat?
Spot treat on the top and bottom sides of the mat. Using a paper towel, cleaning wipe, or soapy rag, clean off area until the mess is gone.

Can I wash the mat?
Do not machine wash. Follow the directions above to spot clean.

Is there a way to get the wrinkles out?
Yes. Lay the mat out flat in the sun for an hour or so. Seaming the underside of the mat also works wonders. of theDo not iron.

Is there anything I shouldn’t use on my mat?
Avoid acrylic paints and opt for water soluble paint. Take care that you do not use markers or ball point pens directly on the mat. And be mindful with scissors and other sharp object as they may cut the mat.

Are the mats safe for my children?
Yes. All mats are California Prop 65 compliant and contain no lead or harmful chemicals.

Do I have the option of an exchange instead of a return?
We are currently unable to process exchanges. If you would like to exchange a product, please return the original item(s) for a refund and place a new order.

What happens if I receive a damaged item?
That’s no good! Please contact us immediately as all damages must be reported within 48 hours upon receiving your order.

What happens if I put in the wrong shipping address?
Contact us immediately upon receiving your order confirmation is something is amiss with your address. Orders that are sent back to us because of an invalid address will be processed as returns.

We also remind you to use caution on the mats, as we cannot be held responsible for damage done after the mat has been used.

Quality is our highest priority, so please let us know if you have any concerns.

If something isn't right with your order, please contact us immediately as all damages must be reported within 48 hours upon receiving your order.

Our policy:
While we take every precaution to ensure that your mat arrives in perfect condition, please understand that some natural variances in color or texture occur due to the nature of the product, for which we are not responsible. Disclaimer: While our mats wipe clean easily,  we make no guarantees and are not responsible for any stains, marks, or discoloring that occurs after the product is used. Additionally, for all TAZA collection products, the digital print on the product may not be flawless due to the variances in the printing process; however, we do screen each product to allow only minor variances to pass through our final quality inspections. Due to the manufacturing process, the size of your mat be up to five percent smaller or larger than sizing listed on the site in the product description.

Exchanges:
We are currently unable to process exchanges. If you would like to exchange a product, please return the original item(s) for a refund and place a new order.

Returns:
All Returns must be postmarked within 14 days of the original delivery date. All items must be returned to us in their original and unused condition with original packaging. If you would like to schedule a return, please email hello@gathre.com within 14 days of original delivery date to arrange return. Once the product has been received and inspected into our distribution facility then we will issue a refund less shipping charges. Your refund will be issued in the original payment method. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. 

International orders and items purchased with merchandise credit are FINAL SALE and are ineligible for refund.

Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be processed and ready to ship. Unfortunately, we can only ship to P.O. Boxes via economy shipping. Shipping charges are per address.

Want to check the status of your order? Just check the email sent to you from hello@gathre.com when your order has been processed, and click the tracking link. If you cannot find that email we can help you track your package. Please send us an email at support@gathre.com with the subject line: "order #[insert order number] tracking."

Register with gathre.com and you can track your package by logging in.

SHIPPING

Please make sure your color selection, size and shipping address are correct before you purchase. Once orders are placed we can not change them. We are not responsible for orders delivered to a wrong address. Customers are responsible for orders once marked as delivered by mail carriers. For faster checkout, please create an account.

UNITED STATES

We ship to all 50 states; Washington, DC; U.S. P.O. Boxes; U.S. territories; and APO/FPO/DPO addresses. The shipping methods offered during checkout will differ based on your shipping address. Shipping cost varies by weight and destination.

SALES TAX

For purchases made in Utah, we collect sales tax at 6.75%.

INTERNATIONAL

For orders shipped to anywhere outside the United States, any duties and taxes incurred are the responsibility of the recipient and are payable upon receipt of the goods.

Currently we are only shipping to the following countries:

ALL mats:

Clean the mat promptly after use with wet rag and soapy water.

Avoid acrylic paints, markers, and pens and scissors.

Do not machine wash or iron.

Place in warm sun for an hour or so to remove wrinkles.

Air out to dry before folding to store.

TAZA collection: 

The designed mats in this collection are digitally printed on the leather, so additional caution is recommended when folding and cleaning.
