We're excited to start a new series called #GathreTheGood. It's way to feature others who are leaving bright spots in their wake. With all the chaos and challenges that are around, we could certainly use an extra dose of good and there are many who have enough to go around. Check back here on our blog for regular features in this series.

First we're elated to showcase Tayler Golden of Wildbird. She owns a babywearing company that creates incredible linen ring slings for your babes. She modeled in our Winter photoshoot and has been an encouraging friend for a while. As a mother and business owner, we admire her positivity, good heart, and not to mention that hair! Mostly, we wanted a peek into her goodness so we asked her to share a bit about herself. Hopefully you'll be left feeling inspired like we are. Thanks lovely Tayler.

What have you learned from your journey with @Wildbird?

I can think of a million things that I've learned from Wildbird but I think the main thing is learning to let go of the need to control the outcome. I've learned to stay patient and trust the journey.

We become a gathering of those who have impacted us. Who are some women who have positively influenced your life and why?

I was surrounded by strong positive female influences growing up. My mom and both of my Grandmas showed an example of unconditional love to their families, they worked hard towards their dreams, and knew how to have fun. I got to be around this everyday growing up. I have had the chance to learn so much from them.

We all have gifts. You have a gift to gathre ______ ?

I have a gift for vitality. I work hard at living a lifestyle where my mind is healthy, my body is healthy, and my spirit is healthy. I'm naturally the cup is half full kinda person and I think that gives me energy.

You capture life so beautifully in your images. Any tips for us?

Oh, thank you! Lighting is everything. I look for naturally bright spots in my everyday life. I am also the biggest vsco fan. I just love the film look it gives photos.

#gathrememories. What do you hope to be remembered by?

This question is a pretty tough one to answer. It has left me in deep thought for a few hours. Two thoughts keep popping back into my mind. I want to be remembered for always being kind and having a deep love for life. To be remembered for that I guess I just need to strive each day to always be kind and live my life to its fullest.

What could you gathre and gathre and gathre and still not have enough of?

Coconut oil. I'm obsessed. I pretty much drench myself in it every night before bed. I cook with it, I brush my teeth with it, and I even eat a spoonful of it each day. You can imagine that I do continue to gathre and gathre. Gimme all the coconut oil.

#gathrewisdom. What advice would you share with your younger self?

I would tell myself to be more confident in myself. I became truly happy when I decided that I'm pretty great just the way I am. This is when wonderful things started to happen for me. Nothing holds you back more than your own insecurities.
