If you’re anything like us, you’re feeling, with all the growing and changing, you’ll never keep up. Maybe it's middle schoolers mixed with kindergarteners, or their braces and our gray hairs, but we’re finding ourselves frequently outta breath. Life (particularly with kids) is always in process of taking shape, and often at a breaknecking pace–to quote Dr. Suess.
Yet isn’t fall the season of harvest? Of reaping the rewards of the hard work sowed earlier. Pumpkins round, stalks lengthen, and there’s a point at which it’s time to enjoy. Somehow this recent trip around the sun has us feeling ready to do just that: enjoy the fruits of our labors. To savor what we have and hustle for more, a little less.
So this FW23 collection is coming to you with the intention to notice how you’ve grown. With grounding colorways, we hope our mats, tablecloths, and play pieces are a gathering place for all the good you’ve nurtured for so long.
This autumn, we want to slow down to notice the seeds planted that are enough, to admire the growth already experienced, and to acknowledge great progress in ourselves and those we love. After all, in the words of Gwendolyn Brooks, “We are each other’s harvest; we are each other’s business; we are each other’s magnitude and bond.” May we all feel that in your homes and hearts this year.
