I love the table cloth. We have a large oval dining table so I was a bit concerned with the fit but it works really well on our main dining table and it can be used on our outdoor table (I write this as I watch the snow fall in mid October) when the weather allows. I have a few large mats we use for playing, a couple Square mats for kid crafts or playtime (laurel makes for a great pond or Meadow while Ginger is a mud pit). Not a ‘tablecloth’ person usually, but in an attempt to have nice things and small kids, these chic table cloths and mats do their part protecting furniture from busy hands (cars, and craft time, and constant spills!).
I am not usually a table cloth fan, but as a lover of all things Gathre I decided to make the purchase. We couldn’t be happier and love the thyme color!
I love my tablecloth, it is gorgeous, however, it has absorbed so much grease and oil from food since I bought it. I even clean up things right after dinner. For the price, I would expect more.
Hi Kirsten, thank you so much for your feedback, we would love to help! Please keep an eye out for an email from our customer service team, thank you so much! Gathre
It’s no secret Gathre makes great quality products. I am only giving 4 stars because of my disappointment in the color. I have the Jade tablecloth and was under the impression that the Thyme color would read more green. Unfortunately, it doesn’t. It is actually hard to tell the two from each other.
We have a grayish decor theme in our home and this is just perfect!
Why We Made The Tabecloth
Ever since our first run of sample mats we have been grabbing our mats off the floor to drape over the table for a craft or a messy cooking scene.
Eventually we realized A) maybe not the most sanitary and B) duh, tablecloths! We should probably make those. We did and they've been a hit, beautifying your homes and lessening your laundry loads.
P.S. Got a square or circular table that doesn't fit under our tablecloths? Try a Maxi Square or Maxi Circle mat! It can work just as great.
