Inspire your soul

Saying “hello” to another week of January with a roundup of books on our list to read and re-read. There is something so calming about sitting down with a book and allowing your world to be transformed by its words. When we can find the time, reading brings quiet into our days. So this week we have been making time for just that. Because we can’t get all of these checked off our list in one week, we thought we’d share our grand round up of inspiring, beautiful, and humbling reads for you to dive into as well.

Starting with Present over Perfect, we wanted to share a little snippet that caught our eye:

“A few years ago, I found myself exhausted and isolated, my soul and body sick. I was tired of being tired, burned out on busy. And, it seemed almost everyone I talked with was in the same boat: longing for connection, meaning, depth, but settling for busy.

I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, neighbor, writer, and I know all too well that settling feeling. But over the course of the last few years, I’ve learned a way to live, marked by grace, love, rest, and play. And it’s changing everything.”
